Job: Customer Facing Data Scientist

Our client is seeking a passionate individual with excellent communication skills and a deep knowledge of Machine Learning.

To be successful you will need to be able to showcase your strong communication skills. You will be exposed to the actual data in various fields and coordinate with the business team to plan and implement the user’s training in order to promote the use of a product after the introduction. 

Major experience / Skill

• Experience of data analysis at the business site for more than 3 years
• The research experience more than PhD and two or more years of business experience
• Practical experience in the production and realization of prediction models (especially machine learning models)
• Communication skills in Japanese (native level) with new and existing customers
• Being able to act autonomously in a small number of teams and ensure appropriate communication
• Experience in R or Python analysis
• Up to 50% off-site visits
• English ability to perform technical communication (Intermediate level, reading only)

Other advantageous experiences and skills 

• PhD and post-credit research experience
• Experience with Hadoop and other bit data technology
• Experience of use of tools required for data preparation and analysis
• SAS, SPSS, Tableau
• Knowledge of forecasting analysis in specific industries such as marking, finance, manufacturing, etc.
• Knowledge of modeling techniques such as teacher-less and teacher-less learning, time-series models, recordings, and vision models
• Experience of consulting
• Development experience as an engineer
• Experience in a start-up
