We are seeking passionate individuals with experience in audiovisual and multimedia industry. You will have the opportunity to contribute to our accomplishments since start-up in 2003 with a strong global presence. This is a dynamic career opportunity with global exposure within the telecommunications industry. Based in Sydney CBD, you will take pride in helping expand our market presence by building our outbound sales activities.

What you will be doing

Sales

  • Develop, methodically execute and report against a written business development plan.
  • Research the target markets and clientele.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with referring parties, including Project Management Company and main contractors etc.
  • Ensure that client needs are responded to in a professional and timely manner, as well as managing the client’s expectations.
  • Identify and attend events related to our target industries.
  • Promote a consistent message in the market about our offerings and values.

Performance Measures

  • Regularly and pro-actively report to the Directors with quantitative measures of their activity and success in building referrer relationships and event activity.
  • Demonstrate the completeness and quality of data the person maintain in our CRM system.
  • Meet a monthly target contribution margin of generated qualifiedleads each month.
  • Meet a monthly target conversion value of leads into business, in conjunction with the sales and account managers.
  • Work within the sales, production and administration teams to achieve customer satisfaction, profit generation, and meet long-term business goals in line with company vision and values.

What you need

  • Good command of English
  • 5+ years of business development or sales in technology/audiovisual.
  • Selling technology solutions into financial clients would be an advantage but not critical.
  • Background in ICT is advantageous.
  • Excellent cross-cultured communication skills including formal and informal presentations, listening ability and the effective & proactive escalation of issues.
  • Excellent self-organisational skills.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined and able to work under deadline pressure.
  • Able to explain complex solutions in lay person’s terms.
