Responsibilities you will be given

You will be responsible for leading and managing the various functions within the Environment Department including developing and implementing environmental policy and strategy, catchment management, asbestos and construction waste management, and providing specialist technical advice on environmental matters.

Requirements to be a successful candidate:

• Relevant degree qualifications and extensive practical experience in the areas of environment sustainability, biodiversity, climate change and catchment management.
• High-level skills and experience in leading and managing a diverse team in the delivery of specialist professional programs and initiatives, with proven results achieved.
• Demonstrated skills and experience in the management of asbestos-related matters including construction and demolition waste.
