Job: Casual GIS Analyst required for 2 weeks

Our client is seeking for a replacement for two weeks (full-time) in August for the GIS Analyst position with the potential option to work part-time in the future.

Your Responsibilities

• Create maps in ArcMap 10.7 showing surveyed flora and fauna using aerial photographs as well as GPS data
• Analyze spatial data from different data sources (aerials, dxf, shape files) to ensure effective and timely delivery of fauna, flora and habitat maps
• Collect and import client’s data (development footprints (dxf) and aerial photographs)
• Provide spatial analysis of map data (area calculations, intersection, overlays, buffers, etc)
• Prepare spatial data for clients and Department of Environment
• Data management and filing systems

Your Experience

• Strong knowledge of ArcMap 10 and ArcGIS
• Experience with ArcPro (optional)
• An ability to provide innovative solutions to spatial challenges
• Attention to detail, especially regarding the content and layout of maps
• Team orientated approach
