Job: Now hiring: Senior Software Engineer

Based in Taren Point, Sydney, our client is currently looking for a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer, preferably someone who have had worked with gaming systems! Responsibilities:

· designing, developing and implementing software solutions to address complex business issues as well as maintaining existing N-tier architecture for POS systems, Data Management, Jackpot and Media systems.

· building and maintaining software focusing on the Data Management, POS, Jackpot and Media products of the business.

· developing new products and new functionality as required by product marketing and development management as designed by architects.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in computer engineering, computer science or related field with 6+ years of application design and development experience.

· Strong experience in implementing web and desktop-based applications using .NET, Web Technologies.

· Strong experience in C++, C#, HTML5, and systems interfacing.

· Working experience (3+ years) on Relational DB: SQL Server, Oracle or MYSQL.

· Possesses significant knowledge of complex database and object oriented concepts. SQL and Server based troubleshooting including solid SQL coding.

· Experience in business systems design and development.

· Experience working on different Operating System (Windows, Linux)

· Experience in communications protocols and networking stack.

· Experience with dynamic linking of DLLs (.NET, COM and C-style) is preferred

· Experience in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) experience and software configuration management.

· Good verbal and written communication skills and coordinating with the team members in a face to face as well as virtual environment

· Previous exposure to UI development will be highly regarded

· Exposure to another OO language like Java will be highly regarded.
