Job: Manager City Environment

Our client is currently seeking a Manager for City Environment for the Environmental Department including developing and implementing environmental policy and strategy, catchment management, asbestos and construction waste management, and providing specialist technical advice on environmental matters.

What we want you to do:

You will be providing leadership, guidance and support to the City Environment Department to ensure the effective management and best practice delivery of environmental policy, strategy and plan, catchment management, environmental waste management and specialist technical advice on environmental matters to support the ongoing provision of optimum environmental outcomes.

What we need from you:

• Relevant degree qualifications and extensive practical experience in the areas of environment sustainability, biodiversity, climate change and catchment management.
• High-level skills and experience in leading and managing a diverse team in the delivery of specialist professional programs and initiatives, with proven results achieved.
• Demonstrated skills and experience in the management of asbestos-related matters including construction and demolition waste.
