Located in Sydney, our client is currently looking for a highly motivated Spatial Data Developer with a sound understanding of the implementation of geospatial ETL processes. This is a great opportunity to spread your passion for providing cost effective, quality services that are sustainable and add value to our partner’s operations while benefiting the wider community.

What you will be doing:

• Maintain data update procedures – SQL, ETL, Python
• Provide ongoing development of the GIS system to support the business and the changes that evolve
• Mentor and coach team members to increase productivity and team outcomes
• Prioritize assigned Tasks in order to deliver projects to meet specified dates in a cost effective and quality focused manner.
• Build data and business applications and ETL process automation
• Communicate effectively with key stakeholders including clients, suppliers, external partners and internal teams throughout development projects and system processes
• Provide support to new Technology introductions.
• Performing configuration of datasets into SQL database environment & SSRS reports
• Technical supervisor to performing code review and sprint planning

What we are looking for in an ideal candidate:

• Knowledge of data management in SQL and ETL procedures
• Experience with Python
• Strong communications, project management, and organisational skills
  
• Ideally some working experience with visualisation tools
