Our client is an industry-leading geotechnical, environmental and groundwater consulting firm that operates Australia wide. Due to increased workload, they are currently seeking an energetic, motivated Junior Environmental Scientist to join their team at West Ryde.

About the role: Conducting and supervising field work Reporting and assist in the preparation of tenders on a range of projects, including:

• Contaminated site investigation
• Hazmat and asbestos investigation
• Site remediation management
• Groundwater investigation
• Acid sulphate soil investigation
• Waste classification 

The successful candidate will possess:

• 1-2 years experience as an Environmental Scientist or Environmental Engineer
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Valid Australian driver’s license

Experience in hazardous materials survey, and/or an asbestos assessor’s license is ideal but not essential If this sounds like the role for you then APPLY NOW!
