EBR Community and Charity Work Update

4 May 2010 | 3 min read

Last month we told you all about EBR's great plan to raise money and have fun at the same time! Every week of the month of April, our staff members took some time out from their busy schedules to play some tenpin bowling! For every pin that was knocked down, EBR made a promise to donate $1 to a charity. The proceeds from this activity have been donated to the children's family cancer charity, Camp Quality.

Due to the success of this exercise, EBR have planned another two months of fundraising activities. For the month of May EBR will be playing a ring toss game; for every correct toss the staff member and EBR will be donating $2 each to AEIOU, an not-for-profit organisation for children with autism. Keep an eye out for June's fundraising activity!

In addition, the Cancer Council's annual Biggest Morning Tea is coming up this month and EBR plan to take part in the event. The official date is Thursday May 27th, but you can also get involved by hosting a Biggest Morning Tea of your own on any date in May. Visit the Biggest Morning Tea website to find out more information about hosting an event.
