EBR News and Events - 2010 spatial@gov

From October 5-7 EBR took part in the 2010 spatial@gov conference held in Canberra. It was a great opportunity to provide information on our services and to hand out promotional material. The conference, hosted by Australian Spatial Cosortium and CeBIT, was considered a huge success! It was great to see both new and familiar faces, and we hope you enjoyed the treats!

In other news, for the month of October EBR plans to support an EBR associate who took part in the Around the Bay in a Day event in Melbourne. The event is was held on Sunday October 17, and proceeds are to go to the Smith Family. EBR held a bowling competition on Friday October 8, and spelling bees on Friday October 15 and Thursday October 21. Funds raised from these events will go toward the Smith Family. This organisation is dedicated to helping disadvantaged children in Australia through education and learning opportunities.
