Last month EBR attended the annual Mapping Sciences Institute Australia (MSIA) Professional Development Seminar. Held on 21 October at the Aspire Hotel in Ultimo, the event was a huge success! The event is recognised for continuing professional development, with a range of speakers delving into the progress which has been made in the spatial industry. These events are definitely worthwhile as they present an opportunity to network and find out the latest industry news. We will be sure to keep you up-to-date with the latest, upcoming events.
In other news, EBR have been hard at work raising money for charity. For October and November, EBR staff are generously donating to a school in Papua New Guinea so that they can build a shade cloth over their playground. EBR hosted a team walk on 28 October to raise money for the school. In addition, to celebrate Melbourne Cup the team went out to lunch at The Orchard in Chatswood. The team dressed up in primary colours of red, blue and yellow with EBR staff member Rebecca taking home the award for "Best Dressed". Pictures to follow shortly! The money which was raised for EBR's internal Melbourne Cup sweep is also being donated to the school.
With Christmas fast approaching, EBR are preparing some fun and festivity. Read EBR's December edition of the Newsletter and you could be in the running to win a great prize!
In February of 2011 EBR will be turning 10! Watch this space for more exciting information on how EBR will be celebrating a decade of business!
