Ignite Spatial is a conference dedicated to open and free geo-spatial source software. EBR attended Ignite Spatial 3 on the 21st of October 2009 at the Shelbourne Hotel. The event is free, and definitely worthwhile, so we want to encourage you all to attend in future! EBR also sponsored the Perth Ignite Spatial on the 5th of November! Sadly we couldn't attend, but we hope all you readers out there got a chance to visit.

The Mapped Out Conference, hosted by REROC, was held in Wagga Wagga on 22nd of October 2009 and was organised to showcase the use of spatial data in relation to government services. The event attracted close to 100 people, and EBR are proud to have had one of our EBR staff members present on the recruitment services we offer.

The Mapping Sciences Institute (MSIA) held their annual GIS/Mapping event on October 29th 2009. There were many exciting and interesting presentations, and it’s great to find out about all the upcoming software programs and everything GIS related.

Thanks to everyone who attended and made these events such a success! We will keep you updated on future events, and hope to see you there!
