Why Customer Feedback Is So Important

There is no doubt that feedback from both customers and clients acts as an advantage to a business. It gives you the opportunity to assess what is working in your business, what isn't working and what can be done differently. These are 3 approaches that we at EBR use. We find that customer feedback allows us to make changes to our processes that will benefit not only our candidates & clients but our overall work process as well.
Below are my top 3 reasons why customer feedback is so important:
- Improvements Can Be Made
By acquiring feedback from customers and clients in a business you are able to assess what needs to be changed or altered in a business. Customers may suggest something that can be done better that will not only benefit them but the business as well. Sometimes you need an outsiders perspective and by having an effective feedback process you are able to acquire that. - Appreciation
By having an effective feedback process implemented in your business you are allowing a stream of open communication between you and your customers or clients. By having this open communication your customers and other stakeholders will feel appreciated and will know that their suggestions and feedback is being heard. This in turn will lead to gaining their trust and altering your business for the better. - Saving Time
The suggestions or feedback that people may give to your business could be something that has never even crossed your mind. People can come up with a number of different suggestions over a wide range of areas in your business, which also may include your computer system, website or your service in general. By hearing these suggestions you may implement the feedback and save time with a process that otherwise may have taken a while to complete.
It is important to never underestimate the power of feedback. It is a process that should be implemented in every business and the feedback must be actioned in one way or another and should never be ignored. It is a free way to connect with your customers & clients, in turn building your relationships with them & in the long run and changing your business for the better.
