With EBR, Job Hunting Is As Easy As 1-2-3!

I used to think that life will be easier when I graduate and have my own job, until I graduated and went through one of the biggest challenges in life...finding a job!  My love for numbers and passion for the environment led me to become a GIS specialist. I am proud to be one but since this is a small field, finding a job was not easy.

It's not because there are no job opportunities out there.  In fact, there's too many.  Employment of GIS specialists and cartographers is projected to grow 20 percent from 2012 to 2022, the demand is high but I can't seem to find the right one for me.  I have gone through a lot of job searching sites and referrals; been through interviews after interviews and received rejections after rejections.  Some companies did not even feel the need to reply back to my application.

Finding a legitimate and reliable job searching site alone is already a struggle.  I mean, how will you know which one to choose from?  And don’t get me started on the job hunting, it was like going through hell.  I didn’t know that it would take this much effort just to find work.  In a generation where technology rules, I don’t understand why job hunting has become more complicated than ever?  There must be a better way!  I was exhausted and started losing hope until I found EBR.

You can browse through the current selection and click on the Job Ref to get the details of the job offered.

Once you made your decision, you can apply for the job by clicking “Apply now” and filling out the form and submitting your CV or you can send an email to jobs@ebr.com.au and attached your cover letter and CV.

Then EBR will contact you when you are shortlisted for the job.  If not, they will also notify you so you can then move on to applying for other job position available.
